Is Christmas Being Sued Away? Christmas Trees at SEA-TAC Airport Removed

For over 25 years the SEA-TAC Airport decorated for Christmas and for the past 10 years the same Christmas decorations were displayed; however, this year all 15 Christmas trees have been taken down. What makes this year different from years past? A local rabbi threatened to sue unless an 8 foot menorah was displayed. More acts of tolerance during the Christmas season. A Christmas tree being offensive. No, what I would dare say is offensive is any religious leader threatening a lawsuit to get their own way. That is offensive.

A local rabbi wanted to install an 8-foot menorah and have a public lighting ceremony. He threatened to sue if the menorah wasn’t put up, and gave a two-day deadline to remove the trees. (King 5)

One rabbi? Because one rabbi happens to think he can dictate to the majority, he is allowed to get his way. Doesn’t this begin to show the lack of tolerance by those who proclaim they are? Granted, a public setting like an airport should show some diversity and include a menorah during the season of Chanukah. However, to be threatened with a law suit in order to do so is 100% wrong. Of course I am trying to still figure out what grounds a law suit would have been based on other than a nuisance suit.

Christmas Trees Pulled From Washington’s Sea-Tac Airport Following Complaint

For more than 25 years, the airport has celebrated the holidays with Christmas trees over its entrances. But overnight, the Port of Seattle ordered all 15 trees removed.

The Port allowed “holiday” decorations to remain but decided to take down all the Christmas trees after a Seattle rabbi complained they were offensive. (Fox News)

What is This Teacher Thinking? 4 Year old accused of Improper Touching

Yes, you read that correctly. A teacher has accused a 4 year old boy of improper touching and sexual harassment.  A 4 year old as public enemy #1. What are they thinking?   In a day and age where parents have to worry whether their children are being approached by teachers and having having sex, we get this nonsence. How could a 4 year old know what is sexual or harassment? This is what our schools have been reduced to.

BELL MEAD-     A four-year-old hugged his teachers aide and was put into in-school suspension, according to the father.   But La Vega school administrators have a different story.

Damascus Blackwell’s four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.

Maybe someone would like to explain how this teacher of the school administration could perceive what a 4 year old does as “intent to be sexual”? What kind of sick people are they? I would really have to worry about an adult teacher who perceives the actions of a 4 year old is sexual. THEY HAVE NO CONCEPT OF IT!!! However, you do. What exactly is going on in your sick  minds?

The principal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated “inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment.”   (WXXV)

Blackwell says it’s ridiculous that the aide would misread a hug from a four-year-old.   Blackwell wrote to administrators demanding that the whole incident be expunged from his son’s academic file because his son is too young to know what it means to act sexually.

Aruba, Maybe You can use South Africa as an Example … Hint: Rape is one of the worst offenses

It would appear the courts in South Africa seem to think rape is a terrible offense. They seem to thing that gang rape is even worse. A particular Caribbean island might want to read this article and rethink their position. What does one think going in and out of consciousness mean?

An East London High Court judge sentenced a gang rapist to life imprisonment, describing the “arrogant” attack at knife-point as “one of the worst offenses”. Life sentences were handed down in the gang rape.

What message does that send to the world, especially since we are hosting the 2010 World Cup.”

Aruba: If you can’t control the monkeys, what can you do?”

It seems that they have a problem in New Delhi as they do in Aruba. Monkeys are a persistent lot and as Joe Tacopina has stated from time to time its hard to get them off your back.

If you can’t control the monkeys, what can you do?”

Maybe this is how the article was really meant to be written.

Operation ELF: Tis the Season to Catch Speeders

Operation ELF, Enforcing Limits and Fining speeders. Funny I seemed to have missed this Elf_CopChristmas special on TV. In Operation Elf there is no Frosty, no Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, no Santa and even no  Burgermeister Meisterburger… only a police man dressed as an ELF giving tickets to speeders.

Here’s how it works: a sheriff’s deputy dressed as an elf clocks cars using a radar gun then dispatches a motorcycle deputy to pull them over and issue the driver a ticket.

More than 150 tickets were written in just over two hours Thursday.

Some people said using a holiday icon to enforce the law didn’t seem right. (Local 6 FL)

I guess the people caught speeding didn’t think it was more wrong to break the speeding limit than using a holiday icon. Don’t they realize it is the season of giving? Obviously the Orange County, FL police department was just following the spirit of the season as they gave out over 150 speeding tickets in two hours. Hopefully, the police Elf wished the ticketed motorists a safe, slow and Merry Christmas. Can’t wait to see what the Orange County police do next Arbor Day or Ground Hog Day.
