Well, my opinion of the people of the great state of Louisiana has gone up a great deal. A fundraising auction in the state put up a dinner with the Governor Kathleen Blanco with bidding starting at 1,000 dollars. This is where the folks got smarter than George W Bush was.
No one bid.
So they lowered it to 500 dollars. Still no takers.
And so it went, till bank executive Malcolm Maddox bid it at a dollar. Thats right, dinner with the governor for a dollar. Eight bits. Can’t get a pack of smokes for that.
Dang Smart Folks in the Bayou, if you ask me my opinion.

That woman & Ray Nagin should’ve been run outta state on a rail & banned from holding any office ever again, but this was the next best thing on her. Nagin re elected?

I live in Baton Rouge and I would not have lunch with Katleen Blank-O if it was free. I see enough of her daily.
Sounds like someone might pay more if she would stay out of McDonalds. Too hard to clean up all the puke if people reconize her.
I can’t believe they even got a dollar! I wouldn’t give her or Nagin the time of day! All these people must have still been in shock at election time to elect Nagin back as mayor! Think people I don’t care what he told you he would do for you look at what he has already done to you! He had all those buses and had time to get thousands of people to safty and he thought he was God and could control things and look at where he got you homeless! But I bet he ain’t!!!!!!!!!!
