Snoop Dogg Arrested Again … What a Shock … CD Sales will Sky Rocket

Snoop Dogg … aka Calvin Broadus, was arrested as he left the NBC Studios after SnoopDoggMugShotperforming on the ‘Tonight Show’ with Jay Leno. What will come of all this? Nothing. Maybe Snoop will sell more CD’s and down-load more songs off the internet now that he has been arrested by the man again. The worse the behavior, the greater the rap sales. Such is the sad case of affairs within the rap community. Behaving badly is not only rewarded, its a badge of honor. Of course Snoop get to go back to his multi-million dollar crib, many of those that buy his music are not so fortunate.

The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, and two members of his entourage were arrested around 6 p.m. Tuesday after a search of his Diamond Bar home and car, Sgt. Kevin Grandalski said.

Police seized a handgun and some illegal drugs, Grandalski said. He did not have details. (The Charlotte Observer)

I’ll probably be the only one that says this…but…

Ahhh…Snoop’s misunderstood. I don’t agree with all his ‘raps’ and all some of the misogynist content, but he has a good beat. So he’s a pothead? Who isn’t these days. Ask any lawyer or doctor you know. There are many “closet” smokers out there. You know who you are.

And NO, I’m not some hippy liberal…though not conservative either.

As for the weapons…a person in his position has to protect himself. Tupac? Notorious BIG?

I’m not condoning him, but I think his beats are groovy and look at Willie Nelson a month ago. Everyone laughed about that. What’s the difference here? None.

he will get a small fine and maybe some community service. if he were just an average citizen he would get prison time. if you are a celebrity you can buy your way out of almost anything.

I used to feel the same as Michelle Says So just described Snoop. A rapper with good beats, and just a harmless dope head.

Then I started looking up and doing
research on some of the gang signs
that he flashes in videos and
      CD sleeve pics.

super dave is correct. There are TWO sets of laws in the USA. If that was me I would be in jail. If I sliced and diced my wife I would be on death row. If my name is OJ I walk.
