Sigma Alpha Epsilon Closed Down at University of Central Florida in Bizarre Hazing Scandal

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at The University of Central Florida has been disbanded UCF2and closed in wake of a bizarre hazing scandal. No secret or double secret probation for SAE as their National Board gave them a death sentence. In all reality this went from funny to over the top dangerous and potentially criminal. What were these kids thinking? As we always say … they just don’t understand that there are consequences to actions. Just how bad does it get when one feels that members of a fraternity cant be rehabilitated?

“Our board does not feel it’s worth the effort to rehabilitate the group,” Weghorst said Wednesday. He said as many as two-thirds of the chapter’s approximately 90 members may have been involved.

It is hard to imagine that anyone still involves themselves with this type of nonsense in this day and age. Read the bizarre and over the top story at Missing & Exploited as to the insanity that went on at this fraternity that cost them their charter. One wonders just how many suspensions, expulsions and potential criminal actions may come from this.

The SAE have had a long history with drugs, sexual assaults and hazing.I am not suprised. Joe

Try every member on the same charges they tried the military members for the minor hazing incident at the prison in Iraq. That’s all it was, a college prank and much less dangerous than the hazing in the U.S. I’m sure there is a prison cell available for each of them.

Ya do the CRIME, ya do the TIME…
sorry guys, I can’t help you.

      Ms. “Nikki Knows” knew,
      I don’t play THAT sh!t!!

PLEASE don’t tell me they videotaped?!?!

    4. Patti on November 9th, 2006 8:35 pm

Nooooo! I misquoted her she said,
“Mama don’t play that (well you know)”

Yep, Ya do the crime ya do the time.

patti, i wish you were crawling through a line in a sority hazing…then i could give you a few wacks on the butt.
boys and girls play sort of differently don’t they?

    6. Patti on November 10th, 2006 2:59 am

It’s not the playing that I worry about,
it’s when they get down to business that I like.

But it has to be the right kind, and if your
partner is either knocked out cold from drinkin’
alcohol or from the drugs or from the old fashion
BONK on the head…. well, that’s not playing fair!

Besides, if you can’t feel it, what joy is there in it?

#6 What on earth are you talking about? Are you suggesting these students would have enjoyed being sexually assaulted by other frat members had they only been a bit more sober?? I don’t think so! This is criminal behavior no matter who is doing it and they should be treated as such.
This is totally horrific behavior and alcohol poisoning kills. No one has the right to sexually assault another human being under any circumstances, hazing or not.

These kids will likely be emotionally scarred for life from this and it damned sure isn’t funny! Partner? These are frat pledges! I highly doubt any one of them signed up to be somebody’s sexual partner in anything! I find your comments highly offensive and outrageous given the gravity of this situation. I further hope criminal charges are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for all parties involved.

Mortella: My point exactly, in fact, what about all the
women and children that have the same thing happen to
them ALL the time???? That was my point.

    9. Patti on November 11th, 2006 12:27 am

Actually, my point was this: I’m tired of the ones that
take all the time to knock out their victims and assault
them. Whether it be from gettin’ them drunk, spiking their
drink or just plain old knocking them in the head. If a
person, whether they be man, woman or child force themselves
on you. It is criminal. What these boys is criminal and
      they should pay.

My other point being that to most of us the act of love
making is something sacred and should be shared with only
that special one. Why would you be interested in having
THAT kind of activity with one that is passed out anyway???

These people are sick….. just as we both said. (period)

    10. Patti on November 11th, 2006 12:30 am

AND the actions by the University are correct. None of us
are here to rehabilitize the criminal at heart. There is
      no rehab… not for that.

MOMMA DON’T BAIL YOU OUT OF THIS ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
