Isn’t This Convenient, Pot Users Rely on Home Delivery

So Pot is not just “Home Grown”, but now home delivered as well? There’s nothing likeLeaf convenience. Whatever happened to those hardy New Yorker’s who prided themselves on the “art of the deal” scoring their dime bag in Columbus Park? So what’s next, 7–11 going to home deliver bags of Doritos as a supplemental service to this? Or maybe with the holiday season upon us, they will gift wrap the pot for the perfect stoner Christmas and Hanukkah gift? Woops, guess I should not have joked, it already exists.

Within a couple of hours, a well-groomed delivery man – sometimes a moonlighting actor or chef – arrives at the doorstep of his Manhattan apartment carrying weed neatly packaged in small plastic containers.

The phenomenon isn’t new. It has long been the case around the country that those with enough money and the right connections could get cocaine or other drugs discreetly delivered to their homes and places of business.

But experts say home delivery has been growing in popularity, thanks to a shrewder, corporate style of dealing designed to put customers at ease and avoid the messy turf wars associated with other drugs. (AP)

I’d like to see what you would do if you got cancer and had to suffer terribly. Would you force yourself to endure pain, discomfort, and lack of food because you thought an herb was “evil”?

I bet your dumb ass anything you would be siging up in a second for herbal therapy.

Thaaaaaaaat’s Cool. I think you ought to call it:

“xstacy’s” because soon you will find that it is
more profitable to “illegaly” sell X on the side.

Dutch hog: if only I knew the real you….

They even hand out business cards in the elevators
to “potential clients” and of course “take care”
      of certain doormen !

If you see a bicycle delivery person who is
not delivering chinese food – there is a pretty
good chance there is something else in that
      over-sized backpack !

Not only can the stoners have their “stuff” delivered
they can order up McDonald’s and Krispy Kremes and
have those delivered right to the front door as well !

Call it “Gateway”….. Get it?? Gateway Drug !?!?!?!

I wish I were in Amsterdam, what’s the weather like
there? Is it like Seattle, wet??? I like October and
November rain…. but I love December and January snow.

    14. joe bear on November 7th, 2006 9:50 am

My monkey read this last night and pointed out that he will be in NYC in March.I pointed out that I can’t post bail.It is amazing. What happened to the good old days of paranoia and sleezy dealers.I am glad it is raining today,to get the mud off.Joe

    15. dutchhog on November 8th, 2006 3:40 pm

as a non believer of the “stepping stone” theory!but mabey that’s just in holland ,we get educated about drugs differantly than in the U.S.i saw an educational film once that was closer to a comedy than anything,i was on the floor laughing.(those from the 50′s must be even funny to americans)which only proves that there is even a bigger need to separate soft from hard drugs!as far as i know in america you buy weed and hash from the same dealer who sells harddrugs,so the “gateway” to lets say “hmm i think i’ll try some coke today” that gateway is much smaller when the two are seperated.PATTI.the weather here sucks!you can have it! and when it snows here all you got is that muddy black sluge!you must live someplace warm!it’s not like seattle, doesn’t it rain there like 300 days a year?we got it a little better than that!i think i go to sicilli to ride this winter out!wanna come with!LOL!

MJ needs to be legal anyway, stop turning smokers into criminals. It’s not such a big deal in other countries and for good reason. Legalize not criminalize!

    17. Patti on November 10th, 2006 2:33 am

      Dutch:

I’d love to. But you gotta promice me something….
You’re not a boogeyman, are you???
