Newspaper Circulation Continues their Decline … LA Times down 8%

As the internet gains strength, the printed newspapers continues its downward spiral in circulation. However, one paper  seems to be gaining strength. The NY Post is up to  # 5, ahead of the Washington Post, NY Daily News and Boston Globe.

Michelle Malkin: Mainstream newspapers continue to bleed

Hemorrhaging left-wing newspapers could learn a thing or two about gaining and keeping readers from the NYPost, don’t ya think?

Second Dancer in Duke Lacrosse Rape case, Kim Roberts, states “go ahead, put marks on me” …Willing to take Lie Detector test (The NewsBreaker Exclusive)

Internet Exclusive from Larry Garrison … The NewsBreaker

The latest bomb-shell news out of the Duke Lacrosse rape case is that the second dancer, Kim_RobertsKim Roberts, has reported to ABC and GMA that the alleged rape victim ask her to “go ahead, put marks on me”. The story just gets more and more strange and troublesome.

VIDEO

The second dancer in the Duke rape case has said for the first time that the accuser told her to “go ahead, put marks on me” after the alleged attack.

Dancer Kim Roberts made the new allegation — which she has not shared with authorities — in an interview with Chris Cuomo that aired today on “Good Morning America.”

In a Scared Monkeys internet exclusive, Larry Garrison who provided the GMA exclusive told us the following:

It appears that the boys on the Duke Lacrosse team were rowdy and did make racial and prejudicial comments; however, more disturbing comments are coming out of the alleged Duke lacrosse rape scandal. After the alleged rape in the car, the alleged rape victim was acting strangely as if drunk or drugged. That is when the alleged rape victim made the comment; I want to be roughed up some more, “go ahead, put marks on me”.

In our exclusive with Larry Garrison, who had met and talked with the second dancer, Kim Roberts, Larry stated,  “that the dancer is willing to take a lie detector test”. Kim Roberts has only been interviewed once by police in the Duke lacrosse rape case. Robert’s stated in her GMA interview that she was very hesitant on coming forward with this information. She thought that she would be called as a witness to get this information out; however, what if she was never called? That would seem as a valid concern seeing that DA Nifong has yet to seriously interview many of the key players in this story. What is he waiting for?

Missouri Amendent 2 … Vote for Cloning? Be Very careful for what you wish for it Just may come True

Cloning could be a Liberals worst nightmare.

VanderbiltLibsfear

(Vanderbilt – ‘06)

Possibly the Missouri attempt to Constitutionalize cloning could back-fire on the Liberals among us. Even a solitary Rush Limbaugh seems more than adequate in exposing it’s veiled efforts in this campaign.

During the upcoming midterm elections voters in Missouri are going to have the options of voting on stem cell research amendment. Is it really an amendment for stem cell research or for cloning? I would advise all Missouri voters to become more informed on the subject at hand.

Is the Missouri’s stem cell amendment is deceptive fraud  … take a look at the fine print.

READ IT FOR YOURSELF … 2006 Ballot Measure Constitutional Amendment 2: Stem Cell Initiative

One thing is for certain, those that ask and vote for cloning may have there worst fears be realized. Imagine if Rush Limbaugh was cloned? Don’t say you have not been warned.

Turn Back Your Clocks, And Use More Energy

Daylight Savings Time ended today, and in  the opinion of some of the experts that makes no sense at all. The use of daylight savings costs the  country a fortune in energy costs. Popular Mechanics goes into great detail on it this week at their blog.

Although it is observed in most U.S. states and over 70 countries around the world, DST can be pretty unpopular, especially with farmers, Aldrich says. But one thing’s for sure: It does save energy, which, in times of rising oil prices and energy costs, can only be a good thing.
The California Energy Commission has done extensive studies on the effects and energy savings of DST in the Golden State. In 2001, a report by Adrienne Kandel and Daryl Metz determined that having year-round DST (one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time in the winter and two hours ahead in the summer) would reduce electricity use by 1100 MW in the winter and 220 MW in the summer.
“It would save about 1 percent a day, which doesn’t seem like a lot,” Aldrich says. “But I think anything that saves energy so we don’t have to build more power plants is good in the long run. Every little bit helps.”
The federal Department of Energy is currently using Kandel and Metz’s study as a model to see how much the entire country would save on year-round DST. via  Popular Mechanics.

Marine Recruiter Who Seduces Students Gets No Jail Time – And an Honorable Discharge

U.S. Marine Sgt. William Moore was a recruiter for the Marines in Brooklyn, New York. He had access to students at their schools and used that access to seduce them. That is horrible enough, but lets look how the judicial and military services let us down.

The prosecutors brought a 33 count indictment on this pervert. The judge, John Walsh, decided to go against the prosecutors demand for jail time and gave him 10 years probation and a level 1 sex offender status. This means this man does not have to report to the local community he lives in as a sex offender.

And then to add icing to the cake, he is given an honorable discharge from the Marines, the very organization that whose reputation he has hurt. Folks, there are bad people out there. When they do evil things, they need to be punished so that they can not do so again, but also to send the signal to others that it is definitely not in their best interests to do so in the future.

Today, in this instance, both the legal system and the Marines have validated that going into a school as a recruiter and seducing the students is just fine with them.

And that is wrong.

Holloween … Aruba Style

Who knew when asking for authorities to investigate the disappearance of a missing teenager it would turn into “trick or treat”.

Aruban Holloween is now 24/7/365. The main players have done their tricks and still expect more treats. Scary place that island. The local children have so many masks to choose from however.
