Second Dancer in Duke Lacrosse Rape case, Kim Roberts, states “go ahead, put marks on me” …Willing to take Lie Detector test (The NewsBreaker Exclusive)

Internet Exclusive from Larry Garrison … The NewsBreaker

The latest bomb-shell news out of the Duke Lacrosse rape case is that the second dancer, Kim_RobertsKim Roberts, has reported to ABC and GMA that the alleged rape victim ask her to “go ahead, put marks on me”. The story just gets more and more strange and troublesome.

VIDEO

The second dancer in the Duke rape case has said for the first time that the accuser told her to “go ahead, put marks on me” after the alleged attack.

Dancer Kim Roberts made the new allegation — which she has not shared with authorities — in an interview with Chris Cuomo that aired today on “Good Morning America.”

In a Scared Monkeys internet exclusive, Larry Garrison who provided the GMA exclusive told us the following:

It appears that the boys on the Duke Lacrosse team were rowdy and did make racial and prejudicial comments; however, more disturbing comments are coming out of the alleged Duke lacrosse rape scandal. After the alleged rape in the car, the alleged rape victim was acting strangely as if drunk or drugged. That is when the alleged rape victim made the comment; I want to be roughed up some more, “go ahead, put marks on me”.

In our exclusive with Larry Garrison, who had met and talked with the second dancer, Kim Roberts, Larry stated,  “that the dancer is willing to take a lie detector test”. Kim Roberts has only been interviewed once by police in the Duke lacrosse rape case. Robert’s stated in her GMA interview that she was very hesitant on coming forward with this information. She thought that she would be called as a witness to get this information out; however, what if she was never called? That would seem as a valid concern seeing that DA Nifong has yet to seriously interview many of the key players in this story. What is he waiting for?

“It is something that has been weighing on my heart, and I worry that maybe I won’t be called to trial,” Roberts told Cuomo, as she reached for a tissue.

“Because all of, so many of her, so much of [the accuser's] statement differs from mine, and I, I might not help the prosecution at all as a witness.”

Roberts became visibly upset as she described the accuser’s comments for the first time, at one point stopping the interview.

“I don’t even want to talk about it anymore,” she said.

Kim Robert’s bomb-shell comes on the foot-heals of the other recently learned head spinning information that DA Nifong has yet to interview the alleged rape victim on the facts of the case.

“I’ve had conversations with (the accuser) about how she’s doing. I’ve had conversations with (the accuser) about her seeing her kids,” Mike Nifong said. “I haven’t talked with her about the facts of that night. … We’re not at that stage yet.”

Nifong made the statement in response to a defense request for any statements the woman has made about the case.

In this racially divided issue, we hope that the truth comes out no matter what it may be. It has divided a North Carolina community and one can only hope that the truth and justice is served as color should never play an issue. Did the Duke Lacrosse team act like choir boys, probably not by the mere fact that they hired strippers, let alone their past campus conduct. Did they deserve certain university sanctions against them for their conduct, yes. Did they rape an exotic dancer?  That is the major issue. They have proclaimed their innocence. The dancers color and background should not be an issue. A rape case should be about the facts and wanting to get at the truth.

The facts of the case and lack of investigation by the prosecution is certainly disturbing. Did DA Nifong use this for political purposes for his upcoming election? Rape is always disturbing. One never wants to question the validity that a rape victim is making false allegations. However, on the other hand no one wants to falsely condemn people for rape either. This is the reason why it is imperative that a DA investigate and talk to all sides to get to the bottom of the matter, rather than file charges first and figure out the rest later. The fact that DA Nifong has not questioned the accuser in detail at this point is troubling.

Rape allegations should never have a racial component to them. Obviously this case has divided many along racial lines. People should be bigger than that. It appears that Kim Roberts has made that decision. Larry Garrison commented, “Kim Roberts did a brave thing by coming forward with this information in such a racially divided issue”. Garrison also made the point that it should be about “the truth”, not racial.

I realized the position Kim Roberts was in “not to violate her sisters” as she exclaimed, and was pleased that she realized the truth was more important than a racial divide.” The mere fact that she would take a lie detector test was convincing. Furthermore, Kim and I went to her father’s funeral in Sacramento with “Good Morning America”, and her state of mind was more into making things right then anything else. (Larry Garrison)

IMHO this chick is more of a liar than anyone in this case. She has also changed her story…….how many times?? Geeeeeezzzzeeeeeeeee////in all reality, I do think something ‘BAD HAPPENED’ there at that house. Just not sure WHO (how many) are to blame….

did the people leading this investigation train on aruba?
everybody wants facetime on the tube, everybody changes stories at the drop of a hat, sure sounds like aruba to me. all we need now is taco joe expounding on what great and wonderful young men the defendants are, as we watch them stand before court over their other infractions.

      So far it’s just about:
      VOTE! (for DA)and
      $$$$$ (for dancers)
Investigate. Find out if there is a crime to solve.

      RE: Nifong’s case:
“Go ahead an put marks on me”?
Could she have remembered this a little sooner?

There are three young men whose reputations and futures are hanging in the balance…

      Is this America or Aruba?

      Kim Pittman is a liar.

How did she fix her mouth to tell this awful lie. She wants money and will do anything to get it. This case is NOT about her. Remember this quote: “How can I Spin This To My Advantage”. That money hungry lying b**ch.

Someone paid her off to say that. Why tell this now, after 7 months, she wants to come clean. The defense must be desperate to come with this low blow. It’s all about Mike Nifong NOT being elected DA. You see, the defense wants the public to believe that they want a speedy trial BUT, truth is…They want NO trial at all. The defense is playing lowdown and dirty because they’re hoping this case gets dropped before it sees the inside of a courtroom.

Kim Pittman wants to get paid and will sell her soul to do it. She should be slapped silly and then thrown in jail. That lying money hungry b**ch!

    7. Brenda T. on October 30th, 2006 12:49 pm

Do keep in mind that if Kim’s father just died, that type of personal “crisis” (for lack of a better word) often causes one to re-evaluate. It did for me when my dad died!

Anyway, maybe she’s telling the truth and is trying to make things “right”. Appears Nfong isn’t doing so well in that area…..

Remember, she’d do MUCH better for herself if she were to side with the accuser because now, she will be accused of backstabbing a “sister”. Trust me, she’s chosen the harder road to hoe this time. (no pun intended)

I hope those innocent players are soon vindicated. So what if they got drunk, watched a couple of dancers, made nasty comments, pissed one off enough to make false accusations…unfortunately for them it was election year and Nfong is wanting to keep his position……

so why is one stripper trustworthy and the other not?

    9. madmatt on October 30th, 2006 1:10 pm

hey brenda why do you assume they were innocent…is your opinion any more valid than nifong’s who has seen the data?

    10. MCF on October 30th, 2006 1:37 pm

Well, I don’t know that anyone is necessarily claiming that one stripper is completely trustworthy and the other is not–and clearly Kim Roberts has some history of looking out for number one. Obviously this new statement will have to be scrutinized pretty closely. That being said, while Roberts’ attitude toward the case and her remarks about whether or not a rape (or “something bad”) might actually have occurred have shifted with the prevailing winds, the main factual details of her account have remained largely consistent throughout (with, perhaps, some minor shifts about exactly how long she and the accuser were separated on the night in question–I believe she made one statement that they were apart for no more than 5 minutes and another that they were separated twice–in each case for 5 to 10 minutes). Even this last revelation, while questionable because it seems surprising she never mentioned it sooner, isn’t actually inconsistent in any specific way with her previous accounts of events.

Someone is lieing! One of the boys wasn’t even there and he is in trouble because she picked him out and said he looked liked someone that was there. The D.A. is just out for blood to make him look good! But a simple lie detector test would just about clear up any questions!!

    12. mayan_moons on October 30th, 2006 5:28 pm

This Kim is lying bitch & i hate people like her that make a mockery of justice. I’ve got an open mind on this case, i believe that some people with money feel entitled to treat for lack of a better word entitled to verbally or physically attack people of a lower class than they. I believe some black people use past slavery as an excuse for the chip on their shoulder that keeps them from enriching their own lives, & that goes for some white people aswell. I believe some women have claimed rape when they have not been raped, (which really pisses me off & hurts REAL victims of rape). I believe people of wealth can be set up when they really did nothing criminal.
I also think that when the alledged victim goes forward with a trial where due to the wealth of the alledged perp its possible they have offered the victim money if she just goes away, yet she holds fast to her claim. That says alot to me.

      I agree with Brenda T.

We need to keep the truth of this case securely in our
minds. The fact is that this girl RAN out of that house
without her purse, without her cell phone and without her
money. What girl does that??? A scared, frightened and
battered girl that feels that her life is more important.

Boys will be boys, but there is definately a reason why the
University punished them AND that the state wants to.

I’m in shock. Do you all seriously believe there is even a hint of hope that this woman (the accuser) is telling the truth? YOu are all getting on KP for “changing her story”. Hate to tell you, she’s not the one who’s making the accusations. THe accuser’s story changed god knows how many times. The volumes of evidence point to her lying, there is a motive for her to lie…how in CHrist’s name do you think any of these boys raped, beat, and sodomized this woman when she was at work 10 days later? She was too traumatized to tell Nifong what the hell was going on, but not too traumatized to again put herself in the same position she was in when she was so badly assualted and take off her clothes for strangers and be all flexible?

Are you all smoking some crack? My God.

Well all of you bandwagon jumpers who cried black and blue that the poor stripper was savagely beaten and raped and those evil white duke boys were guilt as sin, now I guess you’ll be hiding off the message boards or getting new names and hoping the whole thing dies down quietly without anyone remembering your bigoted comments and how you shot your mouth off in the face of the facts and said they must have been guilty because they were rich and white and the poor woman was just trying to earn money to help herself and her family and never mind that she was hooked on the drugs and was headed for detox and the rape came at just the right time to stop that and that poor good intentioned nodick Nofing really did his best and we should all be praising him for his efforts to try those bad boys in the public and if we have to we’ll make up some evidence and try and suppress those DNA results that virtually proved the whole thing was a lie from the start.
I look forward to Nodick being disbarred and some civil suits from the real victims (including their families) and the egg on our face looks from the Duke adminstration and the gang of 88 and hope to again see posts from jutice58 (although she’s been lying low for the last few months – must have seen the writing on the wall and decided not to show her nick).
But right now I just want to say HA HA HA justice58, you were WRONG. wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong
      hahahahaha
