“Drug Combo Killed” Anna Nicole Smith’s Son TYPO … Aruba, ever wonder why The Dark Cloud Never Goes Away?

If Aruba ever wondered why their tourism continues to decline and their plight is no better today and getting worse, one needs to only look at the Anna Nicole Smith article from WLTX 19 regarding her son’s death. Think Aruba does not have a certain connotation and symbolic representation?

AnnaNicholeTypo

“Daniel Smith, 20, died in Aruba September 10 in a hospital room where his

mother had just given birth to a daughter.”

Woops, and we thought it was in the Bahamas. A screen shot was taken of the above article from WLTX earlier today. Since the capture, they have made the correction. How many calls were made to WLTX from the ATA?

It certainly says a lot when a story is written, edited and still the death occurs in Aruba. Aruba, do you even understand the mind-set that exists in America with regards to your island? As in the case of the above article, it is in the American sub-conscience that Aruba is where people die. This article could have made a “typo” and picked any Caribbean island. However, that was not the case. They chose Aruba.

Now imagine that being the same mind-set of tourist as they chose a vacation destination. Wonder why your tourism is still a disaster? Its really not that difficult to understand. There is no amount of marketing money that is going to change this … only Justice for Natalee.

Aren’t you people tired of blaming Aruba for Natalee’s disapearence or what happened to Anna Nicole Smith’s son if this is true because I haven’t heard a thing!
If you are a litlle smart you’ll know that Aruba is not hurting anybody,it’s not Aruba who “perhaps” hurt Natalee it’s three boys who aren’t even native arubians!!!It’s not Aruba that as you say “killed” ANS son,it’s the drugs!Come on dumb people start telling about the horrible things that happen in the States and leave us alone!

      _______

SM: No we are not tired of it, we have only just begun.

What an attitude you have that you would think that people should just turn away to a hiddeous wrong that was done in Aruba. God forbid it was you that was put in this situation. Wonder if you would have the same thoughts if it were your child.

BTW, the Anna Nicole Smith story was a “typo” at the news station. Her son died in the Bahamas, not Aruba. The point is that when a tourist died, people automatically thought of Aruba. That was the point.

Initially Arubans did not hurt Natalee, it was the 3 suspects. However, over time … who hurt Natalee & her family?

      1. Those that provided a cover up for the three suspects.

      2. The tourism industry that helped hide the truth in order to make $ at the expense of the truth

      3. Certain people in the Aruban media that did the same

      4. Those that went on TV and lied to the public

      5. Those in Aruba that would bitch and moan about their fate duu to a lack of tourism, yet do nothing about it to bring pressure on a government to get answers.

Are the Aruban people to blame for the initial incident? No. Are they to blame for putting their head in the sand and turning a blind eye thinking that all this will just go away? Yes.

How Arubans allowed these three kids and those that helped them cover up what happened is absolutely amazing. Its the equivalent of watching a crime occur and not lift a finger to help.

      Right on Red
That’s what happens when you got a reputation.

      Is that Lacle from Aruba,?

Actually I don’t think we are tired of blaming those responsible in Aruba. I think we got enuff energy to follow this to the end, when the crime is solved and Natalee is brought home to her parents. Or when Aruba self destructs. Aruba/Antilles or whatever you want to be called Bring Natalee Holloway home to her family.

Wow!! The accidental misattribution of the drug overdose to have happened in Aruba rather than Bahamas is really eerie. It’s a tragedy that it happened at all. Guess the concepts of drug overdose and Aruba got appeared to the writer to go naturally go together.

we knew immediately that the article was wrong about annas’s son dying on aruba. a lot of facts tell us that.

medical help was summoned immediately when trouble developed.
there was a prompt, thorough police investigation
      the body hasn’t disappeared
the victim hasn’t been abused by island psychologists pulling a “fred green” in the media by saying she “dressed like a whore, acted like a slut, was an alcoholic drug addict, and was asking for it”. anna’s family hasn’t been accused of pulling a scam and knowing the whereabouts of the victim.
anna’s family hasn’t been told by prominent businessmen that she just “needs to shut up, go home, and get over it”
anna hasn’t had to dig through the public dump in l00 degree heat trying to find her child.

there are myriad reasons we knew immediately that the article had made an error in the location. these few reasons are backed up by literally hundreds more.
i’d be more than happy to enumerate each and every one, but it isn’t necessary for those who follow natalee’s case.

How to avoid being doped and raped at Aruba:
-1- Do not go to Aruba
      -2- Avoid Aruba
-3- Do not go to Aruba
-4- only accept drinks in sealed closed bottles
-5- never leave your drink any second out of sight
-6- avoid alcoholic drinks because you will not taste dope in alcoholic drinks and tipped by alcohol you will not notice in time that you have been doped.
-7- do not accept smokies, whatever could be in it, meth etc.
-8- only go to Aruba together with good friends you can trust
-9- no minute leave from those good friends
      -10- never trust strangers / locals / lover boys / dopers / rapers /
-11- you see, going to Aruba is like swimming in a aligator pool
      -12- best to avoid Aruba

Oh, yes, this is VERY telling!

In the minds of most now Aruba = Bad Things Happening to People.

Aruba, how does it feel to be blamed for even things you did not do so bad is your reputation?? Guess now you know how Beth feels when you make all those false claims about her, huh?

Yes Aruba has become known as the hellhole of the Caribbean. Just what it truly is, too.

It is so nice to read that postings from Dutch nationals that agree that Aruba is a dangerous place.

kelmel, I would suggest you move to Aruba, but Arbanese and other good people like him shouldn’t be subjected to your ignorance. It’s bad enough that he, like the rest of us, have to tolerate it here. You are the one that injects “Aruba” into every article posted on this blog.
