Duane “Dog” Chapman, Bounty Hunter Arrested and Faces Extradition to Mexico

Rita Cosby of MSNBC has reported that Duane Dog Chapman and two members of his bounty hunting team (one being his son, Tim & Leland Chapman) have been arrested by US officials. The arrest in in connection with the three year old case of “The Dog” going to Mexico and retrieving Max Factor cosmetics heir Andrew Luster. The Mexican authorities want them extradited. This is just absolutely insane. This is just plain wrong.

Duane Dog Chapman being arrested in Hawaii  on kidnapping charges. Isn’t that priceless coming out of Mexico where they make kidnapping for profit a cottage industry.

As many as 4,000 ‘express’ kidnappings occur in Mexico each year. Passengers in unlicensed taxis are driven to ATMs and forced to withdraw money.

Being arrested in US  and extradited  for kidnapping a rapist scumbag  three years later  … nice job Mexico. Nothing political about this is there?

VIDEO

Cosby is reporting that Mexican government officials wanted the three men sent back there in relation to a three-year-old case.

In 2003, Chapman traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to retrieve Max Factor cosmetics heir Andrew Luster, who was wanted in the U.S. on rape charges. Luster is now in jail, serving a 124-year term. The Chapman’s were jailed in Mexico for a brief time for the incident three years ago. Bounty hunting is considered a crime in Mexico.

(TMZ)

This was done at the order of the Mexican government. Why is this happening three years later? The three had already spent time in jail for 3 days in 2003 and were released. Andrew Luster was returned to the US and convicted. Andrew  The Dog arrested a piece of trash like Andrew Luster who was convicted for multiple counts of rape and is in jail for a 124 year sentence.

The Mexican government does nothing to stop the illegal flow of Mexicans into the United States, yet they have the audacity to request an American arrested for kidnapping. Oh wait, “deprivation of liberty” of a rapist hiding in Mexico.  Extradited for a misdemeanor. Unbelievable. ALL SHOULD BE OUTRAGED!!!

Here is someone trying to get a scumbag off the streets and then Mexico has to step in and punish them? What is wrong with this picture?

    3. Sue Bob on September 14th, 2006 8:56 pm

I wonder how they will make a case without the testimony of the “victim”.

    4. Gunslinger on September 14th, 2006 10:10 pm

      Who’s the victim here?!!!

      No body, no case????

I’m sorry, but this is just frackin’ wrong!!!!

Just what was it that Dog and his family did wrong in the United States?

If everyone just knew ‘why’ we have a second amedment!

We CAN do something about this! We CAN do something to pressure the search for Nat!

Dog went into Mexico and busted this guy out of jail. It was wrong and the DOG knew it was wromg. This case is why he got his TV show. It all comes down to MONEY again. The DOG has been scared for 3 years this would happen. His name is DOG but he will be squelling like a pig when he goes back to Mexico.

    6. KELMAL on September 14th, 2006 11:11 pm

He busted them out of jail 3 years ago. The statue of limatations in Mexico is 3 years. So they want the United Staes to give him up, which theyt have too. Be the same thing if a mexican came up here and busted someone out of jail , We would want Mexico to sent them back yo us.

Mexicos’ corrupt politicians seems to have a thing for making multi-millionaire rapists and pedophiles feel at home.

One only has to google “Lydia Cacho” to get a taste of the corruption that exists on that paradise of sex crimes. Makes Aruba seem small.

Since Dog took the food out of the mouths of certain politicos there, it’s only natural that they would seek vengaza for his “crime”. It may be that they are being paid to do this. Wouldn’t put it past ‘em.

I can only hope some of our untainted legal representatives voice a vigorous concern about this unfolding travesty of justice and bring the spotlight harder on the corrupt politicians across the border enjoying the crimes against humanity in Mexico.

Luster was charged with raping three women after drugging them with GHB. There was videotapes of him raping unconscious women. I’m on Dog’s side on this one. Dog’s only goal is take creeps like that off the street,so they don’t harm others. Mexico wants that on the street?

FLASH – Mexico wants Dog back so they can award him the equivalent of our “Medal of Freedom”. Hope they give him some money and name him honorary mayor of Puerto Villarto and give hime a key to the city. NOT.
This is beyond ridiculous that our goverment would cave in to Mexico when the Mexican government is complicit in aiding and abetting the illegal crossing of approx. one thousand of their citizens into our our borders every day of the year. Amazing. Pretty soon it’s be tacos instead of turkey for Thanksgiving.

hmmm it seems like the U.S. is increasingly becoming Mexico’s bitch, WE have to put up ALL the effort to keep the ILLEGAL immigrates out while they do NOTHING to keep the ILLEGAL emmigrants IN. And the U.S. just gives up a hard-working American?!?! They’re just pissed off because Dog WANTED to find the guy and he DID before THEM! It also seems that Mexico is too biast to arrest any of their OWN KIDNAPPERS!!! so they go after the American…. funny thing about it though was MEXICO STILL DIDN’T ARREST DOG the U.S. had to do it for them.

As much as DOG makes me roll my friggin eyes

BUT BUDDY… YOU CAN CONSIDER ME AN HONORARY “DOG POUND

Mexico go P1$$ OFF and KI$$ IT, ya big F-TARDS.

Screw the rapists and the child predators… and F.
a bass-ackwards place like Mexico just because they

      Mexico makes about as much
sense as those “sloot-holes” in Aruba letting a raping, predatory, MURDERER like Joran Van der Sloot GO FREE!

      Let’s use all
      of our legal power and
      resources to let the wrong
      guys go.

      … HELL NO!

I would find some way to keep

Like Larry the cable guy says: “I don’t care who you are. That’s funny right there.”

Lets see, staying in mexico to do more time in prison on a BS charge, or bailing back to the US…hmmm.
      Here’s mexico:
-In Mexico, one is deemed guilty until proven innocent
-Mexican law never allows parole or bail on personal recognizance. An individual charged with a criminal offense must post a financial bond to be released on bail, which may not be available if the potential sentence in years surpasses a certain limit under a formula set forth in Mexico’s Constitution.

It’s insane for a US judge to do this

Agree 100%. I work with a guy from Mexico City. He’s been a citizen for a while now and has been in the country 15+ years…even has a Master’s Degree.

Thing is that he believes he should rule the roost! I work in IT/IS and he is ALWAYS right and everyone else is dumb in his eyes.

      Kelmal,
Why are you such a hater towards Dog? And how do you “bust someone out of a mexican jail” ?? Besides that, Dog is a good guy all around. Who else is going to arrest you, hug you, give you the chance to call a loved one & give you a cigarette :-)

    26. KELMAL on September 15th, 2006 10:40 am

Americanmom, NO Mexico wants the DOG and if the DOG did wrong the USA will turn him over to Mexico. IMO the “dog” does NOT have the right to go into another country and break the law then run back to our country to hide. The “dog” must pay the piper !!!

    27. Sharon Chicago on September 15th, 2006 1:09 pm

MAYBE THE DOG, ONCE RETURNING BACK TO MEXICO CAN HIDE OUT AT A CHURCH, LIKE SOME IMMIGRINTS DO AND ARE PROTECTED…

Instead of being on the “lamb”…He will be in the “dog house” it instead….

I wonder after all has been said and done, if the Dog will ever eat again at Taco Bell… hard to say…

    28. KELMAL on September 15th, 2006 1:26 pm

Cynthia, If the “dog” broke the law he MUST pay. He has been worried about this for 3 years now. If you can’t do the time don’t do the CRIME !!!!!

    29. andra on September 15th, 2006 2:02 pm

I cannot really believe that they would arrest DOG for capturing a REAL CRIMINAl what is the world coming to??

    30. KELMAL on September 15th, 2006 2:25 pm

andra, The “dog” broke the LAW. Don’t you think if you break the LAW you should be arrested. If you don’t then you should go to aruba.

    31. Leo on September 15th, 2006 2:33 pm

I know it is politically incorrect to say this – but, you can’t trust the legal system in non-English speaking countries. They are all hopelessly corrupt – and the best thing if you want justice down there is to bring a pile of cash (for bribes) and plan on doing it yourself. Also, your government – the U.S. – is worse than useless if you get in trouble in some pisant country like Mexico or Aruba. Natalee Holloway should have taught us that.

And, by the way, Bush is still the President – so why doesn’t he do something about this junk? I’m telling you Bush is no better than Clinton – and, in some ways, even worse.

    32. kay zee ess on September 15th, 2006 3:21 pm

Well, Kelmal, let’s get a little reciprocity here. They want Dog and we want a cop-killer and some pedophiles(a crime here in the U.S., if not in Mexico) and other sundry violent and vicious criminals.

They want Dog. Give us what we ask for and we may oblige. Until then, it’s time for a siesta…with Dog on the terra firma of the Estados Unidos.

    34. KELMAL on September 15th, 2006 4:05 pm

kay zee, We will see. Neither one of us knows what is going to happen. If the USA sends him back then in my book he broke the LAW and should pay the price. What is ironic here is the “dog” makes a living catching paople who have skipped out on their bail. That’s just what he did. He got bailed out of jail in Mexico then RAN back to the USA. KARMA ???

    35. Carpe Noctem on September 15th, 2006 5:05 pm

Hey, anybody have corrupt/serial lying Paul Van der Sloots phone number???

maybe he can get DOG out of
having to go to jail in Mexico?

Perhaps there’s another opening at HOGE BUSINESS

      oye papi!

    36. Maggie on September 15th, 2006 5:23 pm

Everything in life isn’t black or white, there are shades of gray. This would be one. Maybe a defense attorney looking for big money would go against dog, but I seriously doubt many people would say lock him up, he took a serial rapist who videotaped women he drugged while raping them off the street. If they would’ve sent Luster back to the United States to start with instead of letting a wanted criminal hide out, Dog wouldn’t have went to bring him back himself.

    37. KELMAL on September 15th, 2006 5:54 pm

maggie, You are right. This is one of those gray areas. From what I heard Mexico was getting ready to send Luster back but “dog” wanted the reward MONEY. See it always comes down to $$$MONEY$$$$. Dog knew if he did this he was breaking the LAW but he did it anyhow. He got his MONEY, fame and a TV show but he BROKE the law. You can’t break the law in another country then run back to th USA for protection. What is funny is how “some” people on here want Joran thrown in jail with NO evidence Then dog admits to breaking the law and they do NOT want to see him in jail???? I DON’T get it !!!!!!!! Double standards ??? I think so !!!!!!!!!!!

    38. mo baxter on September 15th, 2006 5:57 pm

I feel after three year that Duane The Dog Chapman should stand up for his bief and go to court. But The way Mexico waited three year to press charges. There is no excuse for Mexico. So let the lawyers (Open and honest is the best way to go.) handle it and leave The Dog alone, let both side tell there side. But remember the dog go after bail jumpers. Some one as to explain it to the people. We will keep you in our Prayers.

    39. Maggie on September 15th, 2006 6:37 pm

Get your head out of the sand..there is evidence against Joran if you would bother reading it instead of spending your time trying to pick fights with others. Everyone knows why there isn’t more evidence.. Straten, Jacobs and Mr No body, no case. Read the statements, how do you spell SEXUAL ASSAULT, OBSTRUCTION and being a lying witness, etc.

Dog isn’t doing this just for the money. He wants these creeps off the street before they harm someone else.

    40. Carpe Noctem on September 15th, 2006 7:38 pm

Tons of evidence against Joran the predatory
rapist murderer of Natalee Ann Holloway. (imo) Evidence
that was shredded, tossed away, M.I.A., and and some physically damaged on purpose… most of it by a frosted flakes eating pachyderm
brought in –bought and payed for– by a lying
corrupted Paulus and Jan Van der Straaten

      “The Godfatha”

Only person who couldn’t see evidence in Aruba’s case
would be the a-hole who did it, or an Aruban
that is threatened, payed off, drugged off,
or killed off in order to keep quiet.

      ————

Dog would have been stuck in Mexican Prison all these
three years waiting. That’s why he said screw it!!!
They may make him go back for a NY second… but he
ain’t stayin’ long. Someone will get paid off to make
      it go away.

      ———-

Why do I not have a problem with that?

      Because DOG
puts rapists like Joran, and pedophiles like his
pig of a father to friggin
      jail like they belong!

Dog is one of the good guys. No ’bout a doubt it.

      –J4N–

    41. KELMAL on September 15th, 2006 7:41 pm

maggie, I know there WAS evidence but they destroyed it all. But lets say Joran did leave her at the beach and Depak came back and RAPED and KILLED her. Joran would be innocent. Why should an innocent man be in jail ??? If he is guilty then he should be in jail but not ONE of US knows.

Don’t think for ONE minute the “dog” would do this for fun !!! He is in it just for the $$$$$$$$ MONEY !!!

    42. Maggie on September 15th, 2006 7:58 pm

You know how I know they are all three involved.. Joran would send the Kalpoes up the creek in a heartbeat if he wasn’t. Joran’s dad hired them all lawyers. Paulus said no body, no case, Paulus coached them and questioned a witness who had talked to the police to find out what he said. No way.. Joran’s been trying to hang them out to dry for over a year. Deepak and Satish wouldn’t even need a reason to lie if they just dropped Natalee off at the Beach with Joran, unless they were threatened by Paulus and Joran. First of all why would you frame someone for murder and kidnapping unless you already knew what happened?

All of them are in the car when Natalee is dropped off at the Holiday Inn and the 2 guards got her. It takes the blame off of them. They take Joran home and go home, but when that story failed. Joran got out at the beach with Natalee and Deepak picked him up,,,well when the pc records show Deepak on the pc and phone records,, Satish picked him up, he had no alibi, he was home in bed he said. They cleaned, vacuumed twice the car and scrubbed it after that night. The next night, they are all making up lies too..why all the lies of their whereabouts and activities on the night after she went missing? Getting rid of a body? After all on the 31st while everyone’s looking for Natalee .. Paulus is calling her a body. They all 4 know.

    43. Carpe Noctem on September 15th, 2006 8:01 pm

      but kel…

Joran already floated those theories, and they sank like the
Titanic, just like all of his other lies.

Bottom line: A stunning majority people still see him as the a predatory rapist and a murderer & the Kow-plunks as participants.

#40 – there is no evidence
      yet both feel guilty…huh

btw kelmal – there’s a guy who’s been in mexican prison now for close to a year for having 1 empty bullet shell in the back of his truck. they searched his truck going over the border and found it. 1 shell, 1 year. and don’t kid yourself if you think mexico was getting ready to send luster back. mexico is where you go if you do not want to be found.

Scroll up.. I said Dog don’t do this JUST for the money.. but you never read nothing..just say things to constantly start a fight like a small unruly child. Thought you were already warned tonight?!

YOYO I wasn’t refering to you..I was referring to the above person and no I have seen nothing to suggest of incest or pedophile and I’ve never said that, but I do believe they know Natalee’s fate.

    55. Carpe Noctem on September 15th, 2006 10:22 pm

      hey yo yo,

YUp. I believe with all my heart that dirt ball flea bag
of a father of Joran is a pedo… I think he targeted Natalee along with Joran… I believe there is security
cam footage that will prove this in the future.

How much proof do I have??? I have about as much proof
as Joran and the Kalpoes have that say they WERE NOT the onesthat killed Natalee. Do I believe Paulus is a lying cut throat predator pedo? HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Anita is the one that wears the pants in the family and is about the closest one to “normal”, and I think she buries her head in the sand and chooses NOT TO LOOK AT a bunch of the friggin FREAK CIRCUS that her life has become with the two VDS PREDATORS.

I think it is apparent in her actions, and in her words if you listen/read her words carefully. IN MY OPINION – that is they way I see the m’urdering, gangraping, predatory Van der Sloots

Carpe for awhile I didn’t know what to think about that casino tape of the guy looking like Paulus talking to Natalee, but after JQK brought it up and Mr. Cohen was asked and said he would get back with Rita..and never did..it sure looks like him and there is a GREAT chance it is..I then wonder more and more just how much he was involved that Sunday night. I just thought if they had any proof at all that it wasn’t him..we would’ve seen it by now.

    57. Carpe Noctem on September 16th, 2006 2:19 am

      Yes, Ms Maggie…

I find it very telling that NO SWEAT Paulus
gets so darn quiet when people talk about
him being the figure on the opposite end
of the gambling table from Joran.

      (Excelsior Security Cam Footage)

Either that really truly is him, or we’ve
struck really close to an area that he would not
like anybody to do any more sniffin’ around!!!

      He gets REAL QUIET.

There’s another pile buried in the Van der Sloot’s
backyard there somwhere… and I’d like to be there when
Old “Mr. Dutch Stickpokin’ Guy” finds it.

Carpe, give us the words you’ve read that infers AVS has incestuous(sp) relationships with her sons.

Not even close to all info has gone public, which it shouldn’t in an on-going investigation. Guess what, not Paulus in the casino – but you’ll have to wait to find out. There are obviously more than 2 obscured photos, don’t cha think?

    59. Carpe Noctem on September 16th, 2006 11:15 am

Yo-Yo never EVER said Anita was in to incest.
Maybe you misread one of my sentences or perhaps
I cut and botched a sentence.

Never said such a thing about Anita! I said her son
and husband are serial lying raping murdering predators
and Paulus imo is a flaming PEDO.

Guess we’ll see about that video. My you seem very
sure of yourself. WHO ARE YOU?

Maggie, IMO if that was Paulus we would have heard it from JQK. Since JQK hasn’t told us it was Paulus I’m sure it is NOT !!!

    61. Maggie on September 16th, 2006 4:52 pm

On April 3, 2006 JOHN Q. KELLY stated to MSNBC:

COSBY … John, first of all, is there a possibility that Paulus might have been talking to Natalee the night that she disappeared?

JOHN Q. KELLY, HOLLOWAY FAMILY ATTORNEY: Well, if you look at the surveillance video footage, it appears that he’s the one sitting directly next to her and tries to engage her in conversation a couple of times. And it’s sort of ironic that it’s his father who brought his underage son to a casino and left him there after he left, with access to his line of credit, to put this unfortunate chain of events in process.

COSBY: And did he ever say that he had talked to Natalee or not before?

KELLY: No, it’s never even been addressed before whether or not that’s Paulus in the videotape there sitting next to her. And it certainly appears to be to me.

    62. KELMAL on September 16th, 2006 7:54 pm

maggie, Again that was 5 months ago. JQK had 5 months to tell us for sure if it was. Since he didn’t we ALL the the answer. It was NOT him !!!

    63. Carpe Noctem on September 16th, 2006 10:34 pm

sure it was him, even the pedophile Paulus Van der sloot
      won’t deny this. imo

Mexican government was preventing justice from being served. They are just so use to dealing money under the table. I guess they are just pissed. You would be to if your main source of income (bribery ,payoffs etc.)was jacked with!!!!!I’m not surprised. Now I see why so many of those poor devils come over here illegaly. My hope for the Dog is that he is tied up here till that 3 year limitations thing is past.My hope for all the proud Mexican people is that they would see in this generation a democratic government in place of the present counterfeit.

    66. carmen potts on September 18th, 2006 10:39 am

I have said for years that the us is going to the dogs.. well now I believe I”m right.. This is so ridiculous that our country is allowing this to happen to the dog.. For all you idiots out there that continue to bring up his past your just so shallow minded your not even worth listening to. And for all you that keep praying on how he broke the law he had a mexican cop with him just goes to show how useless cops are.. Luster was wanted the dog found him.. Who cares where he was.If your daughters were raped by this guy you would have had wanted him too…Dog did the right thing and now he is being punished for getting this guy off the streets?? Where the hell is the justice.. Dog has done nothing but good things for the last 30 years and now MEXICO may be able to stop this.. this is just down right wrong and what is this teaching our kids?? Dang it.. FREE THE DOG!!! Americans need to quit vacationing in MEXICO and giving our hard earned cash to them.. Mexico needs to go under for this misjustice..I will never vacation there again..How can we help free the dog??

Did everyone forget that they all three had a court date they skipped out on? Dog is always arresting people for skipping court dates, so why should it be different for them?

    70. jnzple on September 18th, 2006 6:03 pm

This is for the MI Kelmel……..
You are an ass. Being from MI myself and near the Brighton area, I just want to say that I cannot believe the moral arrogance of your comments about DOG as well as the Van Der Sluts. You need to become better informed and refrain from the nitwit comments.

    71. frusla on September 18th, 2006 6:25 pm

If you new what was going on he did not skip on a court date.. the judge told him that the charges were dropped.. also he said if he had to go back there to see him (meaning the judge first) and that was to be the end of it… he paid his bail it was over….

    72. A Reader on September 19th, 2006 12:26 pm

Contrary to what some people say, the Department of Justice doesn’t have to extradite “Dog” to Mexico. Here is a link to an article that proves it (it quotes the extradition treaty between the U.S. and Mexico):

      http://www.geocities.com/readerswrite/commentaries/Blessings_of_the_Liberty.htm#Add2

It’s outrageous that the U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales goes after good Americans while millions of Mexican illegals violate this country as they please.

    73. B on September 19th, 2006 11:02 pm

Dog broke the law no matter what he did good. He’s not above the law. Nobody talks of what u did good in life in court. Your there to answer to your crimes. He never went back to court which means he ran. He had a bench warrant. Just like they would come after u they should go after him….Nuff Said!

    74. K on September 20th, 2006 2:39 am

Some of the comments posted here are beyond stupid. To those of you that can sit there and talk crap about Duane Chapman and his actions that lead up to the capture of Andrew Luster. As I recall Dog funded his own trip to Mexico, it was not at your expense as a tax payer. If I am not mistaking, I read somewhere that the US government had men following Andrew Luster. Ok if they honestly had someone following Luster why did they not have him “legally” picked up by the Mexican law enforcement? So as we all know the government is full of crap aswell. The truth is Mexico needs to worry more about keeping their citizens there in Mexico. It is bad enough that we pay millions if not billions of dollars a year to keep the illegals out, but hell lets give those illegals grants to start a buisiness and pay them to live here in the US. So as tax payers we are paying the illegal’s to stay and live here. How does that sound to you Kelmel?

    77. jonnny on September 21st, 2006 7:22 pm

What is disappointing is the Dog is not telling the truth about the fact he skipped bail, and the only reason he got picked up in the first place was he didn’t want to share the credit for getting luster. He did a good thing for the wrong reason. He wanted the fame and glory for himself, not God. He then lectures people about skipping their court dates and he does the same thing. If he wanted to risk breaking the law for fame he should have faced the consequences like a man and stood up for what he did instead of fleeing the country to avoid prosecution just like the man he was chasing.

    78. Connor on September 21st, 2006 8:43 pm

WE still love the Dog for all hes done and he cant let this hurt his spirits as a bounty hunter. He did wut was right and took a criminal off the streets and a how does Mexico repay him, they arrest him. Not all things done in the name of Jesus were the right thing legally at the time so he will be rewarded in the next life. GO DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    83. Norm Laws on September 23rd, 2006 6:31 pm

Mexico has long been the country for criminals to run to. The Texas Rangers could tell you a lot about that. Where better for a criminal to hide than among other criminals? What Dog did in Mexico was, by Mexico’s own laws, a misdemeaner. You DON”T extradite people for a misdemeaner and Dog did nothing he wasn’t advised to do. Mexican law is determined by who pays who how much! It’s been that way for a very, very long time. If Dog wasn’t famous, and rich by their standards, they wouldn’t be bothering. I’m not a big fan of Dog but he is an American and do we give up our own this easy? Next it might be you or someone you know and love. Try sleeping on that! Also, as mentioned, thousands of illegal imigrants cross the boarder like a stream of ants constantly. Wake up folks, they end up living better here than we do. Mexico is glad to be rid of them. Why? I’ve heard Mexicans boast that they are taking the USA an acre at a time. If you don’t think it’s an epidemic then exsplain why Spanish is becomeing as prevalent as English, why food and goods in our stores are labled in both English and SPANISH! Why is it that many jobs now require us to learn Spanish? Shouldn’t they be learning English instead? The USA use to have a back bone but I guess that isn’t politicaly correct that we have one any more. Welcome to the United States of Mexico!

    84. Norm Laws on September 23rd, 2006 7:45 pm

I’d like you all to consider a couple things about this fiasco. It doesn’t matter your opinion about Dog himself. 1)FACT! What he did is considered a misdemeaner in Mexico. Isn’t it peculiar that in Mexico kidnapping is a misdemeaner? You might ask yourself why that is!
2)FACT! Mexico considered Luster a citizen! No? Then why the charges in the first place? Dog wasn’t charged with kidnapping a tourist!
3)FACT! A serial rapist, a fugitive from justice, has more rights in Mexico than a man pursuing justice. Again, No? Then why the charges?
      4) FACT! If Dog is extradited then that says loud and clear to the whole world that we agree that all of the above is fine by us and that we hold the same values as Mexico!
5)FACT! Mexico waited 3 years to go after Dog. Why? Isn’t that a valid question? The man was on tv every week, it’s not like they didn’t know where he was.If it was so important to them why did they wait so long?

I’m a disabled Vietnam Vet. and I shudder to think the USA has stooped that so low as to sell out one of our own for money and publicity and that’s the only logical answer to why this is happening.

    85. Tess_i_am on September 23rd, 2006 7:50 pm

Dog did NOT bust anybody out of jail. He apprehended a rapist as he was leaving a nightclub. Mexico will NOT send criminals back to the US. Why, then, are we sending Dog back to Mexico?

    86. Paulette Hugie on October 6th, 2006 3:55 am

Wasn’t Mexico harboring a fugitive? What’s our Country going to do to punish the Mexican Authorities and politicians for that? Maybe our Government should inforce our laws before they enforce Mexico’s.

How much was Luster paying Mexico to let him stay there. What is our Country coming to when we make corrupt deals with other 3rd world countries. I wouldn’t send anyone’s dog to stay in thier filthy, horrible, corrupt prisons. Let them go, they earned the right, they saved many lives by getting horrible people, including Luster, off the streets. Time for the US to pay them back the right way.

The last time I went to Mexico was in 1968, I was waiting to cross the border with a group of people when I saw a young man get shot in the stomach, for no reason, by a Mexican policeman. The policeman was talking to the young man (American I think) they both were laughing and waving and the young man turned and started to walk away. The Policeman called the young man back. As the young man was walking back, the mexican cop pulled out a gun and shot him in the stomach, at close range, for no visible reason. I was close enough to see the whole thing. It scared me so much I never went back. Don’t send our Hero’s there to be killed. There is no law there just corruption.

    87. Toy Steel on October 24th, 2006 2:34 pm

I think both of these country leaders are under satan’s spell when Dog, Leland, and Tim are arrested for getting an evil man like Luster off the streets. And don’t fool yourself Mexico had no intentions of arresting Luster themselves. They evidently like that kind of people in their country, if they do not why do they always protect them and let them stay there. Mexico wants American Money and American Land and will get it in any way they can. By attacking people like Dog or sending 1 drug smuggler by one across the border. Our leaders are letting them steal it everyday by not caring about the common people of America in the first place. Dog and his men should have gotten the reward and both countries should give them a recommendation for putting Luster behind bars. To arrest them is just as wrong as the 2 Border Patrolmen getting prison time for shooting the drug smuggler for fleeing from them. Things like this happing in America just proves how our country is going downhill and I wonder just how many young people will be wanting to choose the Law Enforcement ( or the military ) as an occupation in the future. I sure would not! These occurences shows the world, including the terrorists, just what our leaders think of the American people. They only want to line their own pockets of our money while they are in the office. We should vote them all out and vote in some real “practicing” Christians ( not the pretending ones we have now ) and put God back in our goverment and country, guard our country borders and take care of our citizens like our fore fathers did.
