Focus Shifts back to Fisherman’s Huts and missing items in Natalee Holloway Investigation. (fish trap cage)

Lately, much of the focus in the Natalee Holloway investigation has been toward searching the water. There have been references to boats and missing items from the fisherman’s Fishhut1huts. Joran after originally changing his story that he had left Natalee Holloway at the Holiday Inn stated that he left her alone on the beach near the Marriott and the Fisherman’s Huts. Also, it was reported that items were stolen from the Fisherman’s Huts. From the Sat. September 17, 2005 Geraldo interview the following was said regarding missing items:

Geraldo: What is the significance of the huts?

Harold: This is astounding, because what happened the night after Natalee disappeared three out of four huts had been broken into. A knife was missing from one, a fillet type knife with a steel shank. When I interviewed the fisherman, he said he had forgotten to tell the police. He called them, they haven’t responded according to him. There was a cage that they use to trap fish. Big enough to put a body in, he said that was missing.

Geraldo: What does that tell you Harold?Fishut2

Harold: It tells me that they might have taken Natalee out into the water. You only have to go out about 3/4 of a mile and it drops down to about 40 ft. Strong currents, strong wind.

However, last night during Greta Van Susteren’s interview with Jossy Mansur he stated the following:

Greta: … Now the search Jossy, we hear there is another search today and that a missing cage may have some sort of relevance to the search. Do you know anything about a missing cage?

Jossy: Yes mam, I do. The person that looks after the fishermen’s huts found in the morning that Natalee disappeared that there was a knife missing and a cage. From one of the locked places the fishermen keep their gear.

Jossy Mansur also goes on to state that the fact that the size of the missing fish cage would be able to hold a human body and the coincidence of the fact that the items went missing at the same time that Natalee Holloway did as well.

Greta: Now, how big is this cage?

Jossy: It is a big cage, it is a fish trap made with chicken coop wire. You know the ones that have the round holes in them? That’s pretty big.

Greta: Could you put a body in it? Could you put someone 5’4” or 5’6” in it? Jossy: Yes, you can.

Greta: Was this reported…she disappeared on the 30th. When was this first reported missing?

Jossy: It was reported to the police that same morning by the caretaker. The man who looks after the fishermen’s huts.

Greta: So, it wasn’t because he had heard there was a missing person? It was just coincidentally I have a missing cage and reported it? Jossy: That is correct. He just told them there were a knife missing and a big fish trap missing.

With the underwater camera searches that are presently being done, the forensic dive teams that are coming back to Aruba, Texas Equusearch returning to Aruba with side scanner sonar and ROV; one can only speculate that the focus back on the water is no coincidence. This after there was much talk of returning to search the landfill in Aruba. That search effort has obviously been put on the back burner for water searches. One does wonder whether there have been credible tips received that point toward the water and a specific location in the Natalee Holloway investigation. As it turns out on October 10th Ocean Systems sent a complete underwater location system to Aruba to help with the effort to locate Natelee Holloway.

The system that was provided has the ability to provide a live video feed to the surface in depths of up to 200ft. The video will also have a continuous recording with GPS coordinates over-layed onto the video so if something is noticed in while the tapes are being reviewed at a later date the location will be right on the video.

The theory that involves the stolen items from the Fisherman’s Huts with respect to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway makes as much sense as any if not more as the suspects have already put themselves within close proximity of this location. One only hopes that there is a break in this case and closure for the family.

I’m wondering if this lawsuit by van der S senior is really aimed at sending a message to the Holloway Twitty family to back off. It’s hard for me to think that the father would have any justification, or imagine having any, for suing in response to his detention. As was pointed out, he remains a suspect.

If it were possible to breed a combination of a snake, a cockroach, and a venomous spider, the name of van der Sloot would probably be an apt title for the ensuing offspring.

Jesus christ. Wake up SM. I am addicted to the story too, but I’ve learned to weed out crap. I’ll give you a hint … if his name is Jossy or Geraldo, it might … just might … not be true.

Can you actually remember a time when either of these guys broke a story that was actually true?

He forgot to call the police, yeah right. Just another Jossi-ism.

Still begs the question of how they would get the body so far offshore within the established timeline.

If the “VIDEOS” show the possible body is Natalee, how did she get into the cage at the fisherman’s huts and eventually into the sea. Did the police men at the site put her there, or did Paulus raid the morgue.

could be they placed her body in the cage and did not take it out to see, but placed it somewhere on the island which is as good as a vault. How about the gold mine ruins at Balashi?

i think that’s what he had done with his previous date-rape victims. let them wake up, wander back to the hotels, and shamefacedly go home perhaps wondering what had happened.

something went wrong with natalee while the boys were having their way with her, maybe she came around and fought, jvds lost his temper and killed her, hid the body and got home somehow to daddy, who’s gotten him out of every other bit of trouble he’s ever been in.

lawyer paulus, not being able to explain away the evidence natalee’s body would reveal, decided to hide the body forever. steve c. and his boat are handy, maybe all ready being the supplier of the date rape drugs jvds used. everything else that has happened since has been to protect jvds, and just incidently the kalpoe’s. i do believe that sooner or later, the axe will fall, and paulus will sacrifice the kalpoe’s to save jvds again. he probably has the contingencies all ready in place to do just that.

My question from a long time back is; what ever happened to the arm that was found a month or so ago? Could that possibly be linked to Natalee? Was it ever tested?
