EquuSearch / Red update

Red is out doing good work, so I’m posting for him.

The EquuSearch Team and Red went again today to the home of Paul van der Sloot, however, it seems as Paul was not home. I guess they’ll have to try again.

The media was out there in full force, which was remarkable as this trip was supposed to be a secret.

Pictures From Red

Red sent over these pictures of the Fishermans Huts

Here is it The view of the Hotels from inside of the Fishermans Huts.

The distance between the two locations is fairly substantial, disproving the theory that it would have feasible for anyone to see something happening at one site from the other at night.

Sunday; Not a Day of Rest for EquuSearch

The morning has been a full one since the crack of dawn. I have already been to the landfill and back. The search and rescue dog teams were at the landfill this morning checking pre-dug sites from the day before. So far there have been no hits of interest. The will also be going to the dunes to check out some places of interest as well.

I will be heading to the landfill as well to help in the search later today. The are presently doing some excavating of the size of an area of two football fields. The search & rescue dogs will then be brought back in. There will be pictures later to get a complete understanding of the magnitude of the search. Technically we are not supposed to take pictures, however … Yesterday alone the two equipment operators moved tons and tons of earth and debris in efforts to search for Natalee. Most all of the material then has to be closer checked with rakes and shovels and sometimes by hand.

Later today I will also have some interesting things to talk about. Will report on it as the events either as they take place or a little thereafter.

Dave Holloway; Joran needs to talk or Someone needs to come forward.

This morning I had the pleasure to meet Dave Holloway for the first time. It was an honor to finally meet one of Natalee’s parents. Although it was a quick hi and bye as it was off to the landfill at 7:30 this morning this morning until 5:30 this afternoon.

I did, however, have the opportunity to sit next to Natalee’s dad, Dave Holloway, at dinner this evening accompanied by the rest of the Equusearch team. Sitting next to Dave was really amazing to get to know and listen to Natalee’s dad after seeing him in so many interviews. I asked Mr. Holloway, as he was in a rush to run off to an interview, Dave what do you think is going to make a difference or make a break in this case that will turn the tide?

“First, I would like Joran to tell the truth. It is about time he did so.”

“Second I would like to think that someone or one of his friends would come forward and say what they know. There is a $100,000 reward to anyone for any information as to the where abouts of Natalee. At what cost and price is there for a friendship.”

I will say this which is lost on TV interviews. Dave Holloway is a very engaing, focused and passionate man as he was discussing many topics with me this evening. I look forward to having a more thourough interview with him in the future.

EquuSearch Asks Van der Sloot for Help

Today EquuSearch, Tim Miller and Kevin O’Brien from Sante Fe, Tx, went to Paul Van der Sloot’s home to ask him for his help to clear up rumors of all possible search sites.
They went to Paul Vander Sloots from gate and yelled Paul’s name so that he would come to the entrance. Paul Van der Sloot walked to the gate to confront Tim & Kevin.

The following account is taken from Kevin O’ Brien directly:

Keven identified Tim Miller and himself as volunteers of the a non-profit, non-partisan group, EquuSearch. Kevin asked him if he was willing to search the property so that we can eliminate this as a site and eliminate rumors. Keven asked him if he could enter the property and search it. Paul Van der Sloot’s response was and adamant NO!

Keven then said, thank you very much and have a good day.

Kevin, Tim and EquuSearch had the team ready to use the ground penetrating radar devices, 2 search & rescue dogs and the Methane gas detector probes. The purpose of this mission was not to alarm Mr. Van der Sloot, but simply to clear one of the many sites still in question.

EquuSearch would like to thank GPR-SLICE Imaging Company for providing the GPR(ground penetrating radar) imaging expertise and software, GSSI for making available the GPR equipment, and Underground Imaging Solutions and Earth Measurement Corp out of Houston, TX for providing the GPR expertise, and Heath Consultants for providing the Methane Detector Probes.

Look for Tim Miller on Gerald Rivera’s show later tonight at 10pm.
