The Flip Side – Tuesday June 10th

“Americans overwhelmingly see public broadcasting as an unbiased information source, Perhaps that’s what the GOP finds so offensive about it. Republican leaders are trying to bring every facet of the federal government under their control. . . . Now they are trying to put their ideological stamp on public broadcasting.”

– Rep. David Obey (Wis.), the ranking Democrat on the subcommittee

I am thinking that Representative Obey has been enjoying the last of his medical marijuana.

The Flip Side is our daily quote from a liberal about the state of the country.

PBS has long been a bastion of liberal tripe, from it’s obsessive daily global warming , alarmist horse pucky, to the who’s who of flaming queers on parade. Without public funding it would have died a natural death long ago. If the liberal are truly liberal let them “liberally” fund PBC and quit trying to tell us it’s a mainstream outlet for a darned thing. What it is is a cleverly disguised , foundation stone, underpinnning the promulgation of liberal subterfuge on a nation in general and it’s children in particular.
Maybe a good old fashion ‘reining in ” is just what PBC needs to survive. Otherwise I say cut the other half next year.

The christian taliban will not rest until we become a theocracy.
We’ll all be required to carry bibles and dress in accordance with the LEADER.
