Walter Cronkite give instructions for the Democrats

Over at Arianna’s new place, Walter Cronkite is blogging. He shows the bias that infected his reporting over his career by taking his initial opportunity to promote future posts on providing  a primer for the democrats to regain power. Yep, unbiased newsman he was.

I’ll launch my first contribution right here: Arianna, I offer this first editorial opinion that you settle for “interesting” and recognize that it is not a synonym for “entertaining.”

I’ve got some other exceedingly interesting pieces up my sleeve, like a proposal that the Democratic Party organize a convention this year to debate and resolve a platform that would provide the confused electorate some idea of what the party stands for…a regretfully missing ingredient in the politics of the moment.

Of course, he is speaking the truth, trying to determine what the democrats stand for would take all of the wisdom of Solomon.

I hope they take direction from the senile old fool.

Me too. However, there lack of a platform has helped me sleep at night. Never give a name to a nightmare.

I’m still trying to figure out whether Arianna’s site is supposed to be biting journalism or “Onion”-like?

“like a proposal that the Democratic Party organize a convention this year to debate and resolve a platform that would provide the confused electorate some idea of what the party stands for”

Walter, frankly I am confused after that statement.
