Are you kidding me? Could you imagine if this was ever expressed as a means of getting rid of a pest in this country? WHAT WOULD PETA SAY?
David Tollner, the member for the Northern Territory seat of Solomon, wishes to end the menace of the Cane Toads by smashing them to death with golf clubs and cricket bats.
“(When I was a child) we hit them with cricket bats, golf clubs and the like. Things were a bit different, most kids had a slug gun or an air rifle and we would get stuck into them with that sort of thing as well,” Tollner told Australian radio.
Got a problem, come up with a simple solution. No problems mate. I knew there was a reason why I loved Australians.

When I was stationed at Luke AFB in Phoenix, AZ, once a year the base would be inundated with toad frogs everywhere on the Flight line. The large bright light drew the bugs. We would get broom handles and practice our swings. Lots of fun!
