More ACLU Insanity

What is more American than Minutemen? Leave it to the ACLU to be on the wrong side again. The ACLU taking on the Minutemen, say it isn’t so.

On April 1, 2005 the Minuteman Project begins.

an all-volunteer effort by law-abiding American citizens to call attention to the nation’s wide open southern border. Hundreds of Americans from New York to Michigan to California will travel down to the U.S.-Mexico border for a month to monitor illegal aliens and alert immigration enforcement officials if they witness law-breaking.

Would the ACLU come to the aide of Americans defending their civil right, freedoms and their “Freedom of Speech,” of course not.

But instead of coming to the defense of the Minutemen who are challenging our government, the ACLU has warned the 1,000 volunteers that it will send monitors to document the Americans’ activities. Moreover, the ACLU has already threatened lawsuits against the American dissenters for exercising their rights.

The ACLU takes this position in a post 9-11 World, meanwhile we are provided with such grim illegal immigration news.

Michelle Malkin with some great Minuteman material as usual.

Don’t miss Michelle on Bill O’Reilly tonight discussing the Minuteman Project.
