After having been vaulted to the top spot the night before CBS execs must feel more at ease this morning that they do not have the burden or pressure of maintaining the number one spot.

There is no truth to the rumor that CBS will announce that Dan Rather will be making several guest appearances in the future to say good bye again in hopes of gaining the top spot again.
